Online sales for wine domains, without giving away your margin
Most wineries lose 30–60% of the retail price to distributors, importers, and marketplaces. House Wine gives your estate its own online shop — on your own subdomain or domain — so you can sell directly to the people who already love what you make.
Direct-to-buyer, without a development team
Sign up, add your wines (take a photo — the AI fills in producer, vintage, region, classification, and grape variety), set your prices, and open your shop. There is nothing to install, no Shopify theme to wrestle, no developer to brief. You can be taking orders the same afternoon.
Your wines, your descriptions, your prices, your shipping rules. Visitors browse, add bottles to a cart, and either send a single inquiry or pay online — your choice per shop.
Your own domain, your own brand
Connect your existing winery domain (or use the free {slug}.housewine.nl subdomain) so customers see your branding, not ours. Upload your logo, pick a background, write a proper about page with photos of the vines and the cellar.
Search engines index your shop. Your producer page lists every cuvée you make, every vintage you have left, with structured data so Google understands it is your estate selling your wine.
Take payment the way Europe actually pays
Activate Premium Shopping and connect your own Stripe or Mollie account. Customers check out with iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA, credit card, or Apple Pay — and the money lands in your bank account, not ours. We never touch the funds.
Every paid order generates a sequentially-numbered PDF invoice and emails it as an attachment. Per-bottle VAT is supported: standard VAT, the margin scheme for older bottles, and exempt items can all coexist in the same cart with the correct legal wording.
Built for actual wine estates
Whether you produce 5,000 bottles in the Loire, 50,000 in Bordeaux, or run a small Négociant house in Burgundy: the same tools fit. Mix current releases with library vintages, offer en primeur allocations, run pre-orders for the new harvest, or sell off older parcels at a sharper price — all from one shop.
Wholesale: a second price tier for trade buyers
Most wineries sell at two prices: one to the public, one to importers, restaurants, and retailers. House Wine lets you run both from the same shop. Flip on wholesale mode, set wholesale prices on the wines you want to offer to the trade, and invite buyers by email. They see wholesale prices when they sign in; everyone else keeps seeing the retail tier.
Each invited buyer is linked to your shop alone. You can pause or revoke access in one click. Minimum order rules — by value, by total bottles, or by case — are enforced at the cart, so a trade buyer cannot accidentally submit a 2-bottle order on wholesale terms. Companies, VAT numbers, and internal notes live on the buyer record for proper B2B paperwork.
- Per-shop opt-in. Wholesale is off until you turn it on, and only invited buyers see anything.
- Per-wine wholesale price (excl. and incl. VAT) plus a per-wine minimum quantity for case-only cuvées.
- Cart enforces shop-wide minimum order value and minimum bottle count before submit is unlocked.
- Buyer admin lists every invited address with status (invited / active / paused / revoked) and pause/resume controls.
